Hey y’all, my name is Amber Robles, and I am y ’all’s 2020-2021 Secretary!! My responsibilities as your secretary are to: -Prepare and post the agenda for each chapter meeting. -Prepare and present the minutes of each chapter meeting. -Place all committee reports in the designated area. -Be responsible for chapter correspondence. -Maintain member attendance. My hobbies are: -Showing and working cattle -Riding Horses -Spending time with family and friends My FFA Accomplishments: -I started showing cattle when I was in the 7th, grade. The breed of cattle that I show is Beefmasters. When I first started showing I had no idea what I was doing but eventually as the years passed I started to make progress. I started to get better with my showmanship and choosing how a true show quality Beefmaster should look. -When I was in the 8th grade I did my very first livestock judging Contest, i got 3rd place Intermediate Division!! -In 2018 I earned my FFA Greenhand Degree -In 2019 I earned my FFA Chapter Degree -I have participated in many Calf Scramble‘s over the state of Texas and have caught in mostly all of them. -In 2019 (my 4th year showing) I won my first two buckles from showing, I won Champion American Heifer at The South Texas Double Trouble jackpot in Jourdanton, Tx and I then won my 2nd Buckle which was for Division champion heifer in La Vernia, Tx. -In 2020 (My 5th year showing) I won my very first showmanship class!! The prize for that was $125!! -In Nov 2020 I won showmanship once again, this time I got my very first showmanship buckle!! Later on in November I won 3 other buckles which 2 of them were for Champion American heifer and reserve Champion American heifer. -On Nov 15, 2020 I won Reserve senior champion at our Beefmaster show. -I have raised 2 successful scramble heifers, This coming year of 2021 I will be working on my third scramble heifer.
